I have heard different versions of this tune, but really cannot attribute it to any particular source other than the various festival versions that I have heard. I took this melody and have tried to put it in a smooth rolling style taht I got from the influences of Reece B. (Sam) Jarvis. I changed the name of this tune from "Boys of Blue Hill" to "Twin Sisters" after hearing Melvin Wine play his American version. Melvin called this tune "Twin Sisters." I like this name better because after we got through re-working it, it has a totally different feel from "Boys of Blue Hill".
